Mission statement:
Enjoy the game as intended and excel at it, without compromising the 'fun factor', real life relationships and friends.
Core ethics:
When it comes to acceptable in game conduct, a little bit of common sense goes a long, but if you would like further clarification please do not hesitate to ask an officer, or review some of the common topics below:
Forums:
All Omega members are free to post as they desire, but please be especially mindful of your comments and how they may reflect Omega as a whole. Similarly, please ensure you comply with any applicable forum rules.
We encourage all members to check our forums here every week to ensure they remain up to date with all the latest news and information.
Guild Vault:
Your trash maybe someone else's treasure, so why not store it in the guild vault. Though access does vary somewhat based on guild rank, the vault is available to all members beyond the position of Recruit.
The success of Omega's Bank Vault policy is based entirely on the honour system. If you see an item you require, by all means take it (that's what it's there for), but we do encourage all members to invest more than they take.
Taking an item from the bank vault without intention to directly use and/or to sell for personal gain may result in disciplinary action. Such action is contrary to The Omega Code.
Need or Greed:
If in doubt, please ask for clarification, or simply select 'Greed'. Never 'Need' an item you won't/shouldn't use.
Officers - Field Marshals & Omega Generals:
Be an example to others. Uphold Omega's core ethics at all times.Manage and review questionable conduct objectively and without bias. Encourage and stimulate content for members wherever possible.Upload and periodically use ventrilo.

Removal of Inactive Players:
Please familiarise yourself with our Removal of Inactive Players policy, and let us know if you're going away.
Scheduled events:
Attendance is non-mandatory, however, if you sign-up or create an event you should attend. From time to time unexpectant real life matters can interfere with gaming time and as such should be given priority, however, please make every effort to either make alternative arrangements, let someone know, or reschedule if reasonable time permits.

Taxes:
To date 100% of all tax increases (including initial implementation) has been subject to 70% majority vote. Approval rates have actually averaged approximately 93%.
100% of funds are invested back into the community, through keep capture, competitions/prizes, and ongoing guild experiences. Only the Guild Master has access to the treasury.
Tithes:
Any additional tithing (from lump-sum donations to ongoing automatic payments) are wholly welcome. This remains the ongoing choice of the individual who is under no obligation to do so.
Ventrilo:
We encourage all members to download and use this software, however, it is non-mandatory. We especially recommend its use during guild/alliance events such as scenarios, instances or ORVR.
Please be particularly mindful of others while using this software and ensure your conduct is consistent with our core ethics.
